Quiet observations of place, light and atmosphere.
Some places ask us to stop. Others reveal themselves slowly, through changing light, shifting weather or the quiet passage of time.
My landscape photography grows from the experience of being present in a place — walking, looking and allowing the ordinary to become extraordinary through attention.
I am drawn to the thresholds between things: the moment before darkness settles, the meeting of land and sky, the tension between stillness and movement, and the sense that a place holds more than we can immediately see.
These photographs are not simply records of where I have been. They are reflections of how I experience the world and the questions that continue to shape my photographic practice.
A collection to spend time with
Each image offers a different encounter with the natural world. Some are quiet and contemplative; others are shaped by the atmosphere, scale or character of a particular place.
I hope these photographs invite you to pause, look more closely and find something of your own experience within them.
Selected landscape photographs are available as fine-art prints.
